Douglas Dynamics, LLC – Western Products Division Makes Top Milwaukee Workplaces List

For the second consecutive year, Douglas Dynamics – Western Products division was among select Milwaukee-area employers named to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Top Workplaces list. The company was ranked as the number one midsize (150 to 499 employees) manufacturer.

The selection comes as the result of an extensive survey process that asked employees to anonymously provide their opinions on workplace direction, management, career opportunities, and conditions and benefits, among others.

Since this award is based on their input it’s especially meaningful,” says Linda Evans, Douglas Dynamics Vice President of Human Resources. “We’re constantly taking advice from employees for process improvements and expanded benefits options, so for us, this award is a testament that we’re listening to the great input they’re offering.”

Among the recent improvements is an expanded health and wellness initiative, which includes the addition of an on-site nurse who maintains office hours to assist with employee wellness and health coaching.

Sponsored by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel with research surveys conducted by Workplace Dynamics, LLC, the top workplaces list is compiled after employees complete a 21-question survey, assessing company direction, execution, career opportunities, workplace conditions, managers, and pay and benefits.
