BACK DRAG EDGE

Ensure a clean scrape every time, when you back drag. The WESTERN back drag edge is built to be as rugged and durable as every other component of your plow. Constructed of 0.25″ abrasion-resistant steel and angled to maximize back dragging performance. This easy to install back drag edge is a key tool in any snowfighter’s kit.

*Back Drag Edge and Shoe Kits cannot be used simultaneously.

CURB GUARDS

Go right up to the edge with bolt-on curb guards. Protect the outer edge of your MVP 3™ snow plow from wear when plowing along sidewalks and curbs. Made of cast metal, each curb guard effectively protects the outer edge of the plow.

*Curb Guards and Wing Extension Kits cannot be used simultaneously.

BLADE ANGLE STOP

Protect your plow by ensuring heavy snow loads are distributed evenly with the blade angle stop. Made of reinforced, 0.188″ high-strength steel that reduces stress on the plow’s back iron and hydraulic rams for improved service life and performance. The easy-to-install kit comes with all of the required hardware.

1/2" STEEL CUTTING EDGE

Made of abrasion resistant steel, the 1/2″ cutting edge gives your MVP 3 v-plow extra wearability by increasing the surface area at the point of contact.

*Standard on 9’6″ and 10’6″ models.

5/8" STEEL CUTTING EDGE

Made of abrasion resistant steel, the 5/8″ cutting edge gives your MVP 3 v-plow extra wearability by increasing the surface area at the point of contact.

CARBIDE CUTTING EDGE

Abrasive surfaces and increased plowing speeds, often found in municipal and commercial applications, can increase the wear rate of standard steel cutting edges. Combat high replacement cycles with WESTERN carbide cutting edge kits for the 8′ 6″, 9′ 6″, and 10′ 6″ MVP 3.

POLY CUTTING EDGE

Sensitive surfaces found in many residential and commercial applications require a more forgiving approach. Reduce the risk of property damage with Poly Cutting Edge Kits for the 8′ 6″, 9′ 6″, and 10′ 6″ MVP 3.

WING EXTENSION KIT

Get more jobs done faster with wings. These plow wings increase the overall plowing width by one foot, add up to 30% more carrying capacity, and minimize snow spill-off. Made of 12-gauge steel with high strength steel ribs, these durable wings attach quickly and easily with a single pin.

10" RUBBER DEFLECTOR

Control the snow and always see where you’re going with optional deflectors. The 10″, 2-ply rubber snow deflector fits all MVP 3^™ v-plow blades. Bolt on steel plates ensure proper positioning of the deflectors to keep your view clear and clean.

18" RUBBER DEFLECTOR

Control even more snow with extended deflectors. Designed for the largest plows, extended deflectors ensure a clear view of your job site. The 18″, 2-ply rubber snow deflector fits all MVP 3™ blades. Bolt on steel plates ensure proper positioning of the deflectors to keep your view clear and clean.

SHOE KIT

Protect your plow and the road, while extending the life of your cutting edge with an adjustable shoe kit. The cast iron construction and shape increases the surface contact area and helps glide over gravel and dirt at the correct height. Extending cutting edge and base angle life when plowing on rocky or abrasive surfaces.

EXTREME WEAR SHOE KIT

Protect your plow and the road, while extending the life of your cutting edge with an extreme wear shoe kit. Made of AR400 steel, adopted from municipal applications, this adjustable shoe kit increases the surface contact area and helps glide over gravel and dirt at the correct height. Extending cutting edge and base angle life when plowing on rocky or abrasive surfaces.

PRO-GRIP MOUNT KIT

Time to touch up your WESTERN^® snowplow blade or black iron? Factory Original paint is formulated to match your original equipment and is available in spray or quart cans, in red or black, and topcoat or the primer-based undercoat for durable coverage.

HIGH PERFORMANCE HYDRAULIC FLUID

Available in quart and gallon containers, WESTERN^® high performance fluid is formulated to provide better viscosity in all temperatures. This means your plow will operate at the optimum level no matter what the weather conditions.

DIELECTRIC GREASE

Don’t risk corrosion problems—use WESTERN® dielectric grease! Western Products recommends all owners consistently use our special formulation dielectric grease to protect all electrical connections in tough winter snow, ice and salt conditions.

EXTREME DEFENSE™ GREASE

Protect and maintain moving components within snow and ice equipment including bearings, hinges and pivot bolts with EXTREME DEFENSE™ Grease. WESTERN’s specially designed blend is optimized for the cold, wet and dirty environment common to snow and ice management. Custom formula maintains viscosity from -40 up to 300 degrees, and military-grade, corrosion-prevention additives protect equipment investments for the long haul with no harmful environmental side effects. EXTREME DEFENSE Grease is available in cartridges, pails, totes and drums.
