2013 ASCA Executive Summit Successful, Beneficial to Attendees

The 2013 ASCA Executive summit is being hailed as a success by attending members of the snow and ice management industry. Over 100 members of the plowing community attended the summit for educational seminars, networking opportunities and to help further the efforts of the ASCA. Western Products was on hand for the summit as a sponsor.

The wide range of topics and presenters for the educational seminars was a highlight of the ASCA summit. Visiting experts and fellow plowing company owners spoke on issues ranging from ISO 9001/SN 9001 certification and on-site safety to the effects of the Affordable Health Care Act, accident insurance and litigation, and risk management. These presentations provided snowplow company owners and their employees with invaluable insight into their industry.

Snow Magazine and the ASCA honored four high standing members of the snow and ice removal industry with leadership awards demonstrating their individual dedication to their companies, the communities they live and work in and the industry as a whole.
